ANNA PIZARRO, DIRECTOR/PRODUCER

Anna is the founder of Confection Media and Confection Cinema. She has amassed over 12 years of  experience in the digital marketing and entertainment industries, working for such companies as Google and The Walt Disney Internet Group, as well as overseeing the online media strategies for Picturehouse (La Vie En Rose, The Orphanage, The Women, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl) and Dimension Films/The Weinstein Company (The Nanny Diaries,1408). She served as a producer for Globalvision's film, WMD-Weapons of Mass Deception, a film about the media coverage during the lead-up to the war in Iraq. WMD has been presented at many film festivals and has won the Maysles Brothers Award for Best Documentary at the Starz Denver International Film Festival; and the Best Documentary Award at the 2004 Austin Film Festival.
